The company owners, Andrew and Scott have a passion for the great outdoors, and most importantly for camping. In a market where cheap worksmanship and inferior imports were flooding the market, it was the need for higher quality camper and canvas products that lead the guys to start the company.
Since the doors opened at our West Gosford factory, customers have been expressing their appreciation for the professional, yet personal touch that Andrew and Scott offer everyone who comes in. Explorer Campers and Canvas is a small enough business that the owners of the business answer the phones, and they are the same guys who are behind the machines the whole way through the manufacture of your camper.

With experience in the camping, camper trailer (previously Cobb & Co Camper Trailers), sail making, and canvas industries totalling over 20 years, it is our people, and their experience, that make the Explorer Campers & Canvas difference. We are passionate about the outdoor camping experience, and love to hear the stories of the amazing places our trailers get to and the adventure filled stories that result.

Explorer Campers and Canvas supply camper trailers for hire through Hit The Track Camper Hire, who are also based on the NSW Central Coast. This provides our potential customers with a great opportunity to ‘try before you buy’ and get an idea and feel for our campers, their handling, and reliability.
